Tutor’s Teaching Background

My journey in education has been deeply influenced by my own experiences as a student, where I faced challenges with math but ultimately excelled through perseverance and hard work. This personal journey has equipped me with unique insights and strategies that I am eager to share with your child. I have had the rewarding experience of teaching a Primary 5 student, whose grades improved remarkably from failing to achieving a B within just one year. This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of tailored teaching approaches and the importance of building a strong foundation in learning. By understanding the individual needs of each student and providing personalized support, I have seen firsthand how students can overcome obstacles and achieve their academic goals. Furthermore, I have experience teaching phonics to a 5 year old kid as part of my volunteering activities. The kid went from non-reading to being able to read and recognise words smoothly. My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore and ask questions. Science, much like math, can be a challenging subject, but I believe that with the right guidance and encouragement, every student can succeed. I incorporate interactive experiments, real-world applications, and creative problem-solving activities to make science both fun and accessible. I am committed to helping your child not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine interest and confidence in science.
