Tutor’s Teaching Background

As a recent A' Level graduate, I believe I can relate to students very well. I have always achieved excellent results for English (A* in IP Y1-4). I took H2 English Language and Linguistics, H2 Literature in English, as well as H3 Literature in English in JC. I topped my cohort for both H2 English Language and Linguistics and H2 Literature in English in Y5. I am holding offers from the University of Edinburgh and Lancaster University for a joint degree in German and Linguistics. I was also invited to interview by the University of Oxford for a joint degree in German and Linguistics and am awaiting the outcome of that application. My experience with Linguistics has equipped me with the ability to break down the nuts and bolts of the English language in a way accessible to students who might face difficulties with it, and my track record of academic excellence proves that my study techniques are credible and effective. Most importantly, I love the English language and hope to help others learn to love it too!
