Tutor’s Teaching Background

I had experience volunteering for a tutoring programme for disadvantaged primary school children (Heartware). I volunteered at the programme for approximately 6 months and gave tuition on a weekly basis. I also have experience tutoring primary 6 students for their PSLE. My strengths academically are Mathematics and Sciences. PSLE score was 251, (2 As 2 A*) and O-Level Score was 2 (8As) and 85 for A levels (3As). My main mode of tutoring/learning is via constant practising of examination materials and learning from mistakes through practising, as that was how I did well for my examinations. My teaching style is patient, as I believe stress can harm a student both academically and mentally. I will also make myself available to suit the needs of the student and am willing to provide my contact details for the student to ask questions whenever they need.
