Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have been teaching at PlayFACTO for over a year, specialising in Creative Math and Robotics. Additionally, I have provided one-on-one tuition to four students over the past year, focusing primarily on Secondary 1 and 2 Mathematics, as well as Primary 5 Mathematics and Science. All my students achieved significant progress, with at least a B grade in their exams. I specialise in helping weaker students build their confidence and foundational skills in Mathematics and science. My teaching approach focuses on tailoring lessons to individual learning needs, ensuring that students understand core concepts and develop problem-solving skills.  My own academic journey serves as a testament to the power of effective teaching and dedication. I was recognised as the most improved Student at Maris Stella High School during my O-Level year in 2019 and later as the most improved science student at Saint Andrew’s Junior College during my A-Levels in 2021. These achievements have given me a unique understanding of the struggles faced by weaker students and the strategies required to overcome them. My experience in both group and one-on-one settings has equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching strategies to various learning styles. I am confident in my ability to support students in improving their grades and cultivating a genuine interest in Mathematics and Science.
