Tutor’s Teaching Background

When it comes to tutoring, I believe that it is important to foster a bond with the student and throughly understand their learning needs. Generally, I believe that practice is key to improving, as well as finding a study method that suits the student in order to maximise efficiency. As a tutor, I intend to communicate with the student regarding their weaknesses and strengths in order to find a method that works best for them. I am able to break down concepts and explain it in simple terms to better foster understanding. Given that I have younger siblings of my own, as well as extensive experience volunteering and working with kids, I work well with students across all ages. I have also previously tutored one Primary 4 and one Secondary 2. Additionally, having gone through the IP programme myself, I am able to better advise regarding the syllabus as well as how to better tackle internal exams in general. I am also able to commit long term should I be suitable for your child. Able to teach both English and Science. For two subjects would recommend 2h at 35/h.
