Tutor’s Teaching Background

Hi, my name is Esther! I have 2 years of teaching experiences altogether, both in a tuition centre and a school before. In addition to that, I have given private home tuition to lower secondary and upper primary students (math and science) for 6 months before I completed my Bachelor degree in Physics which I also obtained a First Class Honors. 

I also have some background in Electrical & Electronic engineering as I did my PhD in EEE in NTU for 2 years and during those times, I have obtained the University Teaching for Teaching Assistant (8 module course with asssessment) certificate which educate on effective classroom pedagogy & lessons delivery.

The students that I have previously taught in a tuition centre and school were secondary 3 to 5 students (including the express stream students) and the learning scope and format that they were following were the Cambridge GCE format. I had experiences with mid year and mock exam paper markings for my secondary 3 and 4 students and also the official marking, evaluation, and assessment of my O Level student's official and final O Level papers due to covid lock down in 2021 & 2022. 

Teaching and imparting my knowledge gives me plenty of satisfaction and happiness and I always find it fun and interesting to interact with my students and see them excel in their work and climb the ladder of success.
