Darryl made the lessons enjoyable and engaging by making jokes along the way but never forgetting to link it back to what he was teaching. When we did not know how to do the questions, he will try to guide our thinking so that we understand the steps in getting the answer. He was patient with us and none of us felt left out even though it was a group setting. Moreover, after the tutoring sessions, if we had any other questions or doubts, we could always ask Darryl and he will respond in a timely manner. The lessons that were taught by him were very well paced, informative and were immersive as I was constantly being asked questions that would challenge my thinking and my concepts, which allowed me to apply what I learnt in class to my work in school. Darryl was a teacher that was fun, made lessons interesting and was very patient with his students, always being willing to explain concepts in math multiple times until we understood them well. Ultimately, I feel that Darryl is a great teacher who is able to break down complex topics into bite sized pieces of information that were easy to digest and understand for his students. Additionally, he always made an effort to keep his lessons fun and engaging, constantly asking us questions to keep us involved in the lesson, and teaching us concepts in a way that was not boring.

Back in my sec 3 and 4 days, i was tutored by Darryl. He taught me physics and it was a very pleasant experience. As much as i hate studying and going for tuition, i enjoyed darryl’s classes alot. He was like a smarter classmate to us, our friend. Talking to us like his friends while following the objective of the lessons. He is also one of the most patient person i know, even if we made the same mistakes and ask the same question over and over again, he won’t lose his patience and make us feel bad. But instead he will try to approach the question we have in another manner making it easy to understand in our perspective.
