We are looking for a foreign international student for Homestay in Singapore. The preferred grade of the student is grade 8 onwards. By choosing to homestay with us, the student will enjoy the following benefits: *Very Good Standard English-Speaking Environment – the language at home spoken by both my husband and myself as well as the helper is standard English. My husband and I both have doctoral degrees and therefore our standard of English is very high and because we interact quite a lot at home, there are lots of opportunities for the foreign student to be immersed in an English-speaking environment *Guardianship – I am an academic who trains English Language Teachers in Singapore. Both my husband and I do educational counselling. As such, we are well able to monitor how your child is doing in school and provide timely information to parents Tutorship – I am an English Language, General Paper, Theory of Knowledge and Extended Essay Tutor. My husband tutors Economics. Therefore, the foreign student staying with us can arrange for tutorship in these subjects in the comfort of the home. We are also happy to assist and oversee tutors that you need to employ for other subjects. * Meals and laundry – We have a capable full-time helper at home who can cook simple meals for the foreign student daily, clean his room and take care of laundry. Most importantly, we have two children in London aged 26 and 23. One is working as a lawyer and the other is starting on his 4th year of Dentistry course. You can be assured that your child will benefit from all the educational experience gained via our children.
