Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have two years of experience in one-to-one tutoring, specializing in core academic subjects such as Biology, Economics, English, and Math. In my tutoring sessions, I focus on personalized, student-centered learning. I utilize tools like flashcards to reinforce key concepts, enhance memory retention, and encourage active recall. This method has been effective in helping students grasp complex ideas across various subjects and achieve significant academic improvements. Through consistent support, tailored study strategies, and regular practice, I have successfully guided students to improve their grades. My approach emphasizes understanding, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to ensure long-term academic success. Additionally my mother is an allied educator in special education. I had the opportunity to interact and teach students from her school, Pathlight. This experience helped me to develop patience, adaptability and communication skills to be able to pass on some knowledge to them.
