Tutor’s Teaching Background

I believe in creating a personalised learning environment that adapts to each student’s needs. I focus on understanding the individual learning style and pace of my students, allowing them to grasp concepts in ways that make sense to them. By fostering critical thinking, problem-solving and confidence, I ensure that students not only improve academically but also develop a genuine interest in the subject. I use a combination of interactive lessons, real-world examples and regular assessments to track progress and identify areas for improvement. My O-Level results ( Chinese - A1, Higher Chinese - A2) are strong evidence that I am confidence in teaching your child. I will mainly focus on the technique for answering comprehension questions and the technique for writing essay. For every lesson, I will let them memorise a good sentence (佳句) that can be commonly used in their essay. I will have a spelling test twice a week to prepare them in words correcting exercises. Last but not least, I am willing to communicate with parents to know what is the weaknesses of their child and mainly focus on the weakness. Even if your child has a weak foundation, as long as your child is willing to learn, then I have the confidence to help your child in improving in his/her Chinese.
