(Attending) Singapore Management University, majoring in Economics.
I have taught 2 students in Upper Secondary E-Math and A-Math. Student A improved from F9 to B3 for E-Math in 6 months, F9 to B4 for A-Math. Student B improved from E8 to A1 for E-Math and D7 to A1 for A-Math. I am currently teaching 2 other students in Secondary 3 E-Math and A-Math. Other than Math, I have taught JC H2 Economics, with students achieving an A and a B in the A-levels. I believe in a step-by-step approach to concepts and questions, ensuring students understand each concept before moving on. I believe the simplest foundations are the most important in understanding any subject. I utilise real-life examples extensively when teaching, allowing students to better link theories to reality, particularly for abstract subjects such as mathematics and economics. I strongly encourage my students to read the news and attempt to apply the concepts they have learnt in class, to see how classroom concepts can be used to analyse real-life issues.
