Tutor’s Teaching Background

Experience: I have taught 1 student so far (my younger brother). I helped him to prepare for his N Levels for approximately 6-8 months, mainly focusing on the subjects - Math and Science. Other experiences: I am also currently volunteering at a student care centre for primary school students for about 3 months, where I help to tutor them in their academics, mainly English, Math, and Science. Improvements: His understanding of both subjects greatly improved over the months, with his grades jumping from a D in his mid-terms to a B for his N Levels for both subjects. Teaching Style: I am patient and encouraging with my students as I understand that everyone learns and grasps things at different speeds and in different ways. I will provide substantial learning materials to teach the student. I will provide practice questions to gauge the student's understanding of the topic.  Lessons will be curated on the student's learning progress. I will put in the time and effort to curate practice questions and test papers for the student. Will guide them and reinforce their learning throughout their journey. Assistance for homework difficulties is also available via Whatsapp/Telegram outside of tuition hours. I am contactable and will reply immediately. If I am unable to do so I will notify the parent.
