Tutor’s Teaching Background

In the past three months, I've been tutoring at Edufirst Learning Centre. I’ve been teaching secondary school Mathematics and Science, focusing on both Elementary and Additional Mathematics, as well as Integrated Programme (IP) Math. I also teach Combined Science and Pure Chemistry and Physics. My teaching approach centers on making complex concepts relatable and engaging. For Math, I work on building a solid understanding of the fundamentals, often using real-world examples to help students see the relevance of what they’re learning. This has been particularly effective in areas like algebra and geometry. In Science, I encourage hands-on experiments and discussions, which seem to resonate well with my students. I find that when they can connect scientific principles to everyday life, their interest and understanding improve significantly. Overall, this experience has been rewarding, allowing me to refine my teaching methods and witness my students grow in confidence and skills. I look forward to supporting and making learning fun for students.
